== What are Plurals? ==
== Nouns ending in -ҳ ==

Nouns ending in -ҳ become plural by replacing the -ҳ with the suffix -ҳо. This plural form applies to all noun genders.
Plurals are words that refer to more than one person, place, or thing. In Tajik, plurals are formed by adding suffixes to the end of nouns. The suffixes used depend on the gender and number of the noun.

=== Masculine Plurals ===

Masculine nouns take the suffix -ҳо when forming plurals. For example, the word for "man" is мард, and the plural form is мардҳо.

Feminine nouns take the suffix -ҳои when forming plurals. For example, the word for "woman" is зан, and the plural form is занҳои.
== Nouns ending in vowels (except -и) ==
Nouns that end in vowels are made plural by adding the suffix -ҳо to the singular form. This plural form applies to nouns of both genders.

Some nouns have irregular plural forms. For example, the word for "child" is писар, and the plural form is писарон.
