Norwegian Bokmål Grammar - Give your Opinion

Hi Norwegian Bokmål learners! 😊
In this lesson, we will learn how to give your opinion in Norwegian Bokmål. We will look at the grammar rules and some examples. We will also do a quiz at the end of the lesson. Let's get started!

Rules

Giving your opinion in Norwegian Bokmål is quite simple. To express your opinion, you can use the following phrases:

  • Jeg synes... (I think...)
  • Jeg tror... (I believe...)
  • Jeg mener... (I mean...)

You can also use the verb synes (to think) to express your opinion. For example:

  • Jeg synes det er bra. (I think it's good.)
  • Jeg synes ikke det er bra. (I don't think it's good.)

To make your opinion stronger, you can add the adverb veldig (very). For example:

  • Jeg synes det er veldig bra. (I think it's very good.)
  • Jeg synes ikke det er veldig bra. (I don't think it's very good.)

Examples

Norwegian Bokmål Pronunciation English Translation

Jeg synes ikke det er bra. yay sain-es ik-eh deh eh brah I don't think it's good.
