In this lesson, we will learn how to give your opinion in Amharic. We will look at the different ways to express your opinion and how to use them in a sentence.

Expressing Your Opinion

Giving your opinion in Amharic is an important part of communication. It allows you to express your thoughts and feelings about a certain topic. There are several ways to express your opinion in Amharic.

Positive Opinions

When expressing a positive opinion, you can use the following phrases:

Amharic Pronunciation English Translation
አማልክት amalkit I like it
እንደነበሩ endenabero I think it's great
አሁን አደረገኝ ahun aderagegn I'm happy now
አሁን አመሰግናለኝ ahun amesegenalegn I'm satisfied now

Negative Opinions

When expressing a negative opinion, you can use the following phrases:

Amharic Pronunciation English Translation
አማልክት አይደለም amalkit aydalem I don't like it
እንደነበሩ አይደለም endenabero aydalem I don't think it's great
አሁን አልተረጋገጡም ahun alteregagadam I'm not happy now

Here are some examples of how to use these phrases in a sentence:
