CONTINUOUS TENSE

Continuous tense for verbs shows that the action occurs continuously (without stopping). Continuous-tense verbs can also indicate that the action is occurring in the past, present, or future.

The continuous past shows that the action took place in the past. (Ex: "They were laughing"). The present continuous shows that the action is in progress. (Ex: “They are laughing”) The continuous future shows that the action will take place continuously in the future. (Ex: "They will be laughing")

Continuous Tense

A verb can be put in continuous tense by AvP + கொண்டு + இரு

The past, present or continuous future can be formed by putting இரு in the past, present or future, respectively.
