Tell the Time in Thai
สวัสดี! Thai Learners! 😃
➡ In today's lesson we will learn how to exress TIME in Thai.
Happy learning!
Telling Time in Thai
There are two ways to tell the time in Thai, one which will require you to learn additional vocabulary, and another much easier.
If you want to meet Thai friends, the easiest way is to indicate the time in Nalika (which means the watch or the clock), and which corresponds to the way of expressing the time in Thai.
If you say 1 nalika (1 a.m.), 12 nalika (12 p.m.) or 22 nalika (10 p.m.), everyone will understand you.
If you are given an hour in Thai (as shown below) and you don't understand, ask: "ki nalika": how many nalika, and they will answer you in an understandable way.
