The new soso alphabet is composed of 7 (seven) short oral vowels, 7 (seven) long oral vowels, 7 (seven) nasal vowels, 16 (sixteen) consonants and 2 digraphs

Long oral vowels[edit | edit source]

aa, ee, ee, oo, çç , ii, uu

b, d, f, h, g, k, l, m, n, ¯, p, r, t, w, x, y

Digraphs[edit | edit source]

gb, n/a

  • x is pronounced kh as in xili
  • E is pronounced as in ginE
  • ç is pronounced as in pçsta
  • ¯ is pronounced like ny in ¯ari
  • nd is pronounced as in nde

gb is pronounced like gb in gbEngbE
