How do we Say "Goodbye" in Arabic?

Good Bye in Arabic[edit | edit source]

When you want to say goodbye in Arabic language you should say:

  •  مَع السَلامة (maʿ al-salāmah), meaning "With peace"

Other ways to say "goodbye" in Arabic[edit | edit source]

You can say:

  •  إلى اللِقاء (ilá al-liqāʾ)  meaning "so long"
  •  في أمانِ الله (fī amān Allāh) meaning "In the safety of God/Allah" 
  •  وَداعاً (wadāʿan) meaning "farewell"

And also you can say:

  •   السَلامُ عَلَيكُم (al-salāmu ʿalaykum) meaning: "peace be upon you"
