Paraguayan Guaraní is a very logical language, so numbers are also consistent and easy to memorize once you get the hang of it! These are the basic numbers, from 1 to 10:

Heading 2: Counting with Compound Numbers[edit | edit source]
Now that we know the basic numbers, we can also use them to form compound numbers! For example, to form the number "eleven" in Paraguayan Guaraní, we simply add the word for "ten" and the word for "one" together:

As you can see, counting in Paraguayan Guaraní is quite easy once you learn the numbers! You can keep forming compound numbers all the way up to 100, which would be "mbo'ehara" (one-hundred).
