Cultural Facts[edit | edit source]

In Laos, drinking often involves the concept of "kin khao" which translates to "eat rice". It means "having a meal" and is a way to bond with family, friends, or colleagues. Drinking sessions can be very long, and it is common for people to drink and chat into the night.
