- The valley of Kashmir has produced some of the greatest poets and writers such as Mahjoor, Wahab Khar, and Gulzar Hajam.

- Kashmir is also known as "heaven on earth" for its picturesque beauty.

- The Wazwan, a multi-course Kashmiri meal, is an important part of Kashmiri culture and is a must-try for visitors.
