As an experienced French teacher, I ventured into the realm of language learning apps, specifically, the {6} language exchange app, with the aim of learning Portuguese. My objective was to understand the effectiveness of such a platform from the learner's perspective, and to achieve an A2 level of proficiency in a new language.

I evaluated the app's usability, its features, and its overall effectiveness as a language learning tool, from the sign-up process to interacting with the community, finding language partners, and even trying out the professional tutor services.
The testing involved using the app consistently and purposefully, initiating and maintaining conversations, exchanging cultural anecdotes, and putting myself in the learner's shoes to truly grasp the experience.
