Babylon

• Our cities become more and more similar to Babylon - the largest city of the Ancient World.

• It was the first megalopolis, the city with about 150-200 thousands of inhabitants.

• In the modern world this number sounds funny, especially in comparing with Asian cities, although Europe also didn’t go far by its crowded.

• Babylon is also famous as abode of vice and associated with such modern concepts as globalism and multiculturalism, which are filling the world.

• I’ve remember about Babylon yesterday when I was returning from the National park Curonian Spit.

• It seems that the National park should be a stronghold of peace and quiet.

• But even there were hustle and bustle.

• Oh, I forgot that it is Saturday.

• Fortunately for me people don’t like to wake up early, to sleep longer is a happiness for them.

• So better for me, even at 7 am I was yet alone walking in the ”Dancing forest”, which is one of the ecological paths in the National park.

• Although to the 8 am the first people began to appear and to the midday woke up decisively all.

• When I was crossing the popular resort town it was a real bacchanalia worthy of Babylon.

• On the repairing embankment were unimaginable flows of people, bicycles, dogs, children, right here builders, everything is mixed up in this ”crazy house” - human hubbub, construction noise, the raging Baltic Sea and strong west wind completed the picture.

• Even after I passed this Sodom, there on the bicycle path still was unreal crowded.

• After I finally arrived home I decisively made a conclusion and a choice between sunset and sunrise.

• I wish that you always could make a right conclusion, stay happy and healthy.
