Hi Odia learners! 😊
In this lesson, we are going to learn how to use "have" in Odia. "Have" is translated in Odia as "ଆଛିବେ" or "ଥିଲେ".

Once you've mastered this lesson, take a look at these related pages: Plurals & Conditional Mood.

Present Perfect Tense[edit | edit source]

Present perfect tense is used to talk about actions that happened at an unspecified time in the past, or to talk about an action that happened in the past that has a connection to the present. To form the present perfect tense, use the appropriate form of "have" followed by the past participle of the main verb.

Let's take an example:

Odia Pronunciation English
ମୁଁ mŭ' I have
ଖାଇଲି khailĭ eaten
