Ecological problems of Vietnam
- The ecological situation of Vietnam is undergoing changes, but not in the best way.
- Needless to say, the atmosphere in Vietnam is polluted due to exhaust gases for cars and mopeds.

- Not only the air is polluted in the country, but also the soil.
- As of 2019, more than half of Vietnam’s land is polluted.
- This is about 16 million hectares.
- The ecology of the state is in a deplorable state.
- The vast majority of land is no longer suitable for landscaping and plant germination.
- For example, in 1943, 143 million hectares were covered with forests, but by 2019 this figure has almost halved and now only 9 million hectares are covered with vegetation.
- It is not yet known whether life will ever be born on the desert lands at all.
- Such ubiquitous landfills continue to grow, spreading the infection to nearby areas. but people do not think to take any action.
- On the territory of the country there is a huge number of industrial zones.
- Their total number is 65 units. and most of them don’t care much about preserving the environment.
- There are harmful emissions into the atmosphere, into reservoirs in which fish can no longer live, to lands that are increasingly saturated with toxic chemicals.
- At the moment, only 22 enterprises have such an infrastructure that allows them to conduct their activities, minimizing the risk of environmental contamination.
- And together with them, 5 industrial enterprises have special facilities for wastewater treatment in their use.
- Well, this is certainly not enough, but at least a start has been made to improve the ecological climate of the country. the initial solutions to environmental problems are precisely the availability of the necessary equipment for cleaning air emissions and wastewater discharges.
