Welcome to our lesson on '''Berber languages''' pronunciation, focusing on the [[Language/Standard-moroccan-tamazight|Standard-moroccan-tamazight]] alphabet and its pronunciation. The Berber languages, also known as Amazigh languages, Tamaziɣt, Tamazight, or Thamazight, are a branch of the Afroasiatic language family. They are spoken by the Berbers, who are indigenous to North Africa.
The '''Berber languages''' (also known as the Amazigh languages, Tamaziɣt, Tamazight, Thamazight; Neo-Tifinagh: ⵜⴰⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖⵜ, Tuareg Tifinagh: ⵜⵎⵣⵗⵜ), are a branch of the Afroasiatic language family.

Traditionally, these languages were written with the ancient Libyco-Berber script, which has evolved into the modern Tifinagh script. In this lesson, you will learn how to write the different letters of the Berber alphabet and how to pronounce them using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). Additionally, we will provide a video featuring the pronunciation of the letters by a native speaker to help you master the sounds.

At the end of this lesson, you will also find a virtual keyboard to practice typing each special character of the Standard-moroccan-tamazight language. Enjoy your journey into the fascinating world of Berber languages! 📚✨
