Here is some useful Panamanian slang:

  • Vaina – represents any "thing" you want.
  • Que Sopa! - What’s up
  • Joven – it literally means "young", but it is used to call up anyone.
  • Buco – comes from the French word "beaucoup" (a lot)
  • Güey – Dude, Man
  • Gial – girl the way young men mean girl. "Y las giales?" - "And the girls?"
