In Mexico

  • En México la semana empieza el lunes y termina el domingo. Usualmente la gente trabaja de lunes a viernes, y en otros casos de lunes a sábado (mediodía los sábados).

THE WEEK IN MEXICO STARTS ON MONDAY AND ENDS ON SUNDAY. USUALLY PEOPLE WORK FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY AND IN OTHER CASES FROM MONDAY TO SATURDAY (HALF A DAY ON SATURDAYS).

  • El domingo es el día en que la gente mexicana puede tomar un descanso de los días de trabajo. La gente usualmente pasa el día con su familia, o yendo a la iglesia.

SUNDAY IS THE DAY THAT MEXICAN PEOPLE CAN TAKE A BREAK FROM THE WORK DAYS. PEOPLE USUALLY SPEND THE DAY WITH THEIR FAMILIES OR GO TO CHURCH.

In Peru

  • No sé si saben que es un país con gran diversidad de comida. Los días lunes se acostumbra a comer lentejas (menestra ).

I don't know if they know it is a country with a great diversity of food. On Mondays it is customary to eat lentils (stew).

  • La gente cree que trae buena suerte para el resto de la semana.

People think it brings good luck for the rest of the week.

  • Los fines de semana: jueves, viernes y sábado las personas salen a divertirse. Los domingos van a las iglesias.

On weekends: Thursday, Friday and Saturday people go out to have fun. On Sundays they go to the churches.
