"Haber" is used in the conjugation of verb forms of compound times. In Spanish, you can enter infinitives, such as: Comer (Eat), Escribir (Write), But also conjugated forms as: quería (Wanted To).

Followed by the preposition "de" and a infinitive verb, it has an obligatory meaning

Followed by the conjunction "que" and a infinitive verb, means 'to be necessary or convenient'
