These memes usually ignore political correctness, depicting a large group of people in their ridiculous aspects. If someone is new to the country, he/she can learn about its situation from the meme and get to know about those groups of people. It is often offensive, brutal and ridiculous but very interesting.


From a social science point of view, these memes are established categories making it easier to learn and integrate new information about different cultures and their political identities in reference to what we know about our own. Also, humor gives immense insight into a culture's ideas and thought processes.
