|Αστρολογία ονομάζεται το σύνολο των παραδόσεων και συστημάτων, τα οποία ισχυρίζονται πως η φαινόμενη θέση διάφορων ουρανίων σωμάτων σχετίζεται με τη ζωή του ανθρώπου με τρόπο άγνωστο στη σημερινή επιστήμη και την λογική της αιτιοκρατίας. Ο Ζωδιακός Κύκλος, ή απλά Ζωδιακός, είναι η ζώνη του ουρανού που περικλείει τους 12 αστερισμούς που βρίσκονται επί της εκλειπτικής. Η εκλειπτική είναι η φαινομενική διαδρομή που εμφανίζει να διαγράφει ο ήλιος σε σχέση με την (ακίνητη) θέση των άστρων, κατά τη διάρκεια του χρόνου. 
Η Αστρολογία δεν πρέπει να συγχέεται με την Αστρονομία, την επιστημονική μελέτη των ουρανίων σωμάτων. Αν και έχουν κοινές ρίζες στην εποχή των Βαβυλωνίων και Αιγυπτίων αστροπαρατηρητών, η Αστρονομία έχει προοδεύσει σε κοινά αποδεκτή επιστήμη, ενώ η αστρολογία όχι.
|Astrology is a set of traditions and systems that claim that the apparent position of various celestial bodies is related to human life in a way unknown to today's science and the reasoning of determinism. The Zodiac, is the sky band that encompasses the '' 12 '' constellations on the ecliptic. The ecliptic is the phenomenal path that the sun is showing off in relation to the (immobile) position of the stars, over time. Astrology must not be confused with Astronomy, the scientific study of the celestial bodies.
Although they have common roots in the era of Babylonian and Egyptian astronauts, Astronomy has progressed into a commonly accepted science while astrology has not.
|L'Astrologie ,mot qui vient du grec " αστρολογία ", de άστρον, astron,( étoile ) et λόγος ( logos), dont la signification est liée à la notion de « discours », est une science humaine qui établit une correspondances supposées  entre l’homme et son environnement (planètes, étoiles…).
Basée sur des observations innombrables faites depuis l'Antiquité, l'astrologie permet de déterminer certaines caractéristiques psychologiques d’une personne en fonction des positions planétaires au moment de sa naissance.L’influence c’est donc à partir des positions des planètes en signes, s’effectue l’interprétation en astrologie.L’étude du thème astral par l’informatique, permet ainsi d’ébaucher la personnalité et les possibilités de chaque individu. Elle ouvre la voie de l’information mais n’a nullement la prétention de remplacer (du moins à ce jour) l’Astrologue qui par le contact et le dialogue échangé, conserve toujours la possibilité d’établir un étude bien plus complète.

==Hellenistic astrology==
Hellenistic astrology is a tradition of horoscopic astrology that was developed and practiced in the late Hellenistic period in and around the Mediterranean region, especially in Egypt. The texts and technical terminology of this tradition of astrology were largely written in Greek (or sometimes Latin). The tradition originated sometime around the late 2nd or early 1st century BCE, and then was practiced until the 6th or 7th century CE. This type of astrology is commonly referred to as "Hellenistic astrology" because it was developed in the late Hellenistic period, although it continued to be practiced for several centuries after the end of what historians usually classify as the Hellenistic era.
