In this lesson, you will learn some vocabulary and expressions related to the four seasons in Japanese.

note : Shiki is the annual cycle of the 4 seasons. Shunkashuutou (春夏秋冬) refers to the four kanji relating with seasons.

天高く馬肥える秋 / てんたかくうまこゆるあき / Ten takaku uma koyuru aki.

Autumn is a great period for farming.

物言えば唇寒し秋の風 / ものいえばくちびるさむしあきのかぜ / Mono ieba kuchibiru samushi aki no kaze.

一日千秋の思い / いちにちせんしゅうのおもい / Ichi nichi senshuu no omoi.
