"All you need is love", The Beatles said! One of the most popular phrases in any language is probably, "I love you". In Japanese, "love" is ai （愛）, and the verb form "to love" is, aisuru（愛する).

Here are some words and expressions involving love in Japanese:

• 結婚　/　けっこん　/ Kekkon : Marriage, wedding (by contract)
• 既婚　/　きこん　/　Kikon : To be married
• 再婚　/　さいこん　/ Saikon : Second marriage
• 離婚　/　りこん　/ Rikon : To be divorced
