You see nothing, You hear nothing [You see the camel, you don’t see the camel]
عجله كار شيطان است

گذشتها گذشته

مستى و راستى
There is truth in wine
نوکه اومدبه بازار كهنه شد دل آزار

گر صبر کنی٬ ز قوره حلوا سازی
gar sabr koni, ze γure halvā sāzi

مار گزیده از ریسمان سیاه و سفید می‌ترسد
mār gazide az rismān-e siyah va sefid mitarsad
Once bitten, twice shy. [He who has been bitten by a snake, is (even) scared of a black-and-white rope.]
هیچ ارزانی بی علّت نیست
hic arzāni bi e’lat nist
Nothing is cheap for no reason.
دارندگی و برازندگی
Money talks.
حرف را باد می برد کتک را خر می خورد
Sticks and stones may break my bone,but words will never hurt me.
از هول حلیم افتاده توی دیگ --> از شدت شادی متوجه خطر نشدن
He rushed his fences.
از هر دست بدهی از همان دست می گیری --> همیشه نتیجه اعمالت نصیب خودت می شود.
One good turn deserves another.
از نخورده بگیر بده به خورده.
The more you have, the more you want.
گربه دستش به گوشت نمی رسه می گوید بو می دهد.
It's sour grapes.
گر صبر کنی زغوره حلوا سازی.
Patience is virtue.
سنگ بزرگ برداشتن نشانه علامت زدن نیست.

شاهنامه آخرش خوشه! --> کنایه از اینکه آخر ماجرا اتفاق افتاده عجیب و شنیدنی است.

گاو سفید پیشانی خانواده است.
He is the black sheep of the family.
یک بار مقروض همیشه مقروض است.
Once a borrower always a borrower.
