吧 (ba) is one of the most common sentence particles in Chinese.
A particle means it goes on the end of a sentense.
The particle 吧 (ba) is used a lot in everyday conversations.
main uses
- It indicate that something is a command or a suggestion,
- It turns your command into something more neutral and soft.
examples
- 咱们走吧。Zánmen zǒu ba.
Let's go.
- 快点吧!Kuài diǎn ba!
Hurry up!
- 我们 结婚 吧。Wǒmen jiéhūn ba.
