Afghans use 3 types of calendars:
- Hijri Shamsi (solar Islamic) : OFFICIAL CALENDAR
- Miladi/Isawee (Gregorian/Christian)
- Hijre Qamari (lunar Islamic)
Hijri Shamsi (solar Islamic)
The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan’s official calendar is the Solar Hijiri calendar.
