What are the differents ways to say "Yes" in Arabic ?
If you want to better understand and speak everyday Arabic, you need to learn other ways than "Oui".

To say you agree in Arabic, you can simply say "Yes" or you may repeat the whole sentence:
- هل تحب المثلجات؟ نعم/ نعم ,احب المثلجات. = Do you like icecream? yes/ yes, I like icecream .
ايوى (ايوا) /Aywa/
yep ( in Egyptian and some country in Midel East )
ايوى /Aywa/ is the informal way of saying "yes" in Arabic.
You'll hear this a lot in casual conversations:
- بتسكن في قاهرة ؟ ايوى , اعيش هنا .= Do you live in Ciaro ? Yep, I live here.
اجل /Ajal/
alright
“اجل” is the Arabic equivalent of “alright. It use in very short answer :
- هل ستأتي معنا ؟ اجل . = Are you coming with us? Alright.
تمام /Tamam/
alright /OK ( in Syria, Lebanon and the environs )
"Ok" has the same meaning as "تمام" but a little less formal.
- افتح هديتك . تمام . = Open your gift . Ok
