Helpful ANKI Shared Decks

Hi Polyglots!😀


This is a list of Anki shared decks for language learning that are most helpful.

Anki is an open-source flashcard software using spaced repetition, a technique from cognitive science for fast and long-lasting memorization. "Anki" is the Japanese word for "memorization".


Decks with these traits can be listed:

  • Complete in content including pronunciation, grammatical gender, irregular forms, etc.
  • Lightweight, only keeping the essential information
  • On specific grammatical topic like irregular forms

Decks listed must possess these traits:

  • Few mistakes
  • Sufficient in quantity
  • Not contained by any other deck

Many decks show the foreign word on the front side and the meaning on the back. In this case, you can edit the cards to reverse them.
