Hello everybody,
In today's lesson you will learn how to use the DEFINITE ARTICLES in Romanian.
Feel free to edit this page by adding new words and expressions!
Good learning! :)
In Romanian the definite article is placed at the end of the noun as a suffix.
For example:
The masculine noun (singular, nominative/accusative)
- "boy" / baiat and "the boy" is baiatul and plural "the boys" băiţii
- "father" / tată and "the father" is tatăl.
- "number" / număr and "the number" is numărul
The feminine noun (singular, nominative/accusative)
- "flower" / floare and "the flower" / floarea.
- "girl" fat and "the girl" fata and plural "the girls" / fetele
The neuter nouns (singular, nominative/accusative)
- "place" / loc and "the place" is locul.
