English Interjections are invariable words or phrases which are sufficient in themselves, they allow to give life to a text by expressing an emotion, a sensation, astonishment, disgust, annoyance, surprise, pain ...

Français Les interjections sont des mots ou locutions invariables se suffisant à eux-mêmes, Elles permettent de donner de la vie à un texte en exprimant une émotion, une sensation, un étonnement, un dégoût, un agacement, une surprise, la douleur...

Ελληνικά Επιφωνήματα  είναι οι άκλιτες λέξεις με τις οποίες θέλουμε να εκφράσουμε διάφορα συναισθήματα, όπως : θαυμασμό, ευχαρίστηση, απορία, πόνο, λύπη, ειρωνεία, αηδία κ.λ.π. Τα επιφωνήματα χρησιμοποιούνται πολύ συχνά στον προφορικό λόγο, όταν αυτός είναι συναισθηματικά φορτισμένος . Σπανιότερα στον γραπτό λόγο και κυρίως στη λογοτεχνία. Στο τέλος του επιφωνήματος μπαίνει θαυμαστικό    - ! – Οι λέξεις που ακολουθούν του θαυμαστικού, δεν απαιτούν κεφαλαίο γράμμα.

What determine? Types of Interjections 1 ) αβεβαιότητα : uncertainty E: we use it when we hesitate. F: utilisé lorsqu’on hésite. χμ : hm ! 2) απορία : question E: It is used to show exclamation or amazement. We also use it when we are scared. F : il est utilisé pour montrer l'exclamation ou la stupéfaction. On l'utilise aussi quand on a peur. α : aa ! , ο : oo ! , μπα ! bah! 3) αρνηση : negation it is used to express a strong disapproval il est utilisé pour exprimer une forte désapprobation. α μπα : a baa!, άπαπα : apapaaa ! 4) Θαυμασμό !: Admiration E : It is used when something bad happens and it can be very dramatic. It can be also used to show admiration. F : Il est utilisé lorsque s'arrive un état mauvais et il est peut être très dramatique. Il peut également être utilisé pour montrer l'admiration. α :aa !, οο !, μπα :baa !, όπα :opa, ποπό :pwpw ! 5) πόνο, λύπη : pain, sorrow E : it is a sound produced when we in pain, or when we feel sorrow. F: c'est un son produit quand on souffre, ou quand nous ressentons du chagrin αχ : ach, ω :,oo ! άου :aouu !, άουτς : aouch !, βαχ :vach !, οχ :och , όχου :ocou !, αλί :alî !, τρισαλί :trissalî, αλίμονο : aîmono, πωπώ : gee: pwpwww! 6) περίπαιγμα, αποδοκιμασία : mockery, disapproval E: It can be used to express indignation or frustration. F: Il peut être utilisé pour exprimer l'indignation ou la frustration. αμάν : aman , ε :ee !, ου :ouuu !, αχαχούχα : achachoucha ! , γιούχα :gioucha !, ξεράδια :xeràdia ! 7) ευχή :   wish / voeux άμποτε(ς), βίβα, εβίβα : eviva : skol! (and he raised his glass), είθε, μακάρι ! 8) έπαινο : cum laude E : it is used to express praise.( however “άντε μπράβο!” (ande bravo) is used to express anger) F: il est utilisé pour exprimer des éloges.( Cependant «άντε μπράβο!» (ande bravo) est utilisé pour exprimer la colère. εύγε : well done, μπράβο : bravo ! 9) Κάλεσμα : bidding E: we use it when we want to call someone, when we are angry or when we want to express disapproval. F : il est utilisé quand on veut appeler quelqu’un, si on est en colère ou lorsque nous voulons exprimer notre désapprobation. ε :ee !, καλέ ! ω :www ! 10) ειρωνεία : irony E: it is a sign that we don’t understand what our interlocutor says,  when we need them to repeat what they said (although it is rude) and when we need them to agree with us. It can be translated as “what?” or “isn’t it?” ε ; :e ? , ου :ouuu ! 11) στενοχώρια ,αηδία : sadness, disgust E: we use it when we are tired or sad. F: nous l'utilisons lorsque nous sommes fatigués ou tristes. άι :ài, αμάν : aman, ου : ou, ουφ : ouuf !, πουφ :pouf !, πα πα πα : papapa! 12) παρακίνηση : motivation E:we use it when we are pleasantly surprised. It can also be used to express anger. F: on l'utilise quand on est agréablement surpris. Il peut également être utilisé pour exprimer la colère.   άι :go /allez, άμε : uh-huh / euh-huh , άντε off you go / c'est parti! !, άιντε, αντέστε 13) ενθουσιασμό : Enthousiasm E : we use it to express joy. F: nous l'utilisons pour exprimer la joie. άλα : à la !, γιούπι : ypie !, όλο :ôlooo ! 14) απάντηση σε ευχή : answer to wish E: we use it when we wish for something to happen. F : nous l'utilisons lorsque nous souhaitons qu'un voeu soit se réaliser. αμήν : amen! Μακάρι : makaree !  (particle of wishing, « would that ») ! 15) απροσδόκητη κίνηση : unexpected movement E : we use it when we hear something unpleasant or something unexpected. F : nous l'utilisons lorsque nous entendons quelque chose désagréable ou d'inattendu. απ :ap!,  επ : ep! 16) επισήμανση κινδύνου : signalization of danger βάρδα : varda :  ! 17) χαιρετισμό : greeting / salutation   καλημέρα : goodmornig / bonjour, καλησπέρα : good evening / bonsoir  , καληνύχτα : goodnight / bonne nuit,  γεια : hello / salut ! 18) ξάφνιασμα : reaction to a surprise E: we use it when we see unexpectedly someone we know very well or when we catch someone doing something wrong. F: nous l'utilisons lorsque nous voyons quelqu'un inattendue, que nous le savons très bien ou quand on surprend quelqu'un en train de faire quelque chose ne va pas. επ : ep ! 19) αποπομπή : impulse ξου(τ) : no ifs ! 20) υβριστικά : insultingly ρε ! 21) it is one of the most common Greek colloquialisms. It can be used to express admiration, amazement, refusal and sarcasm. It can be very rude depending on the context and the tone of the voice. μπα!
