Sounds in Kazakh

Sounds can be consonant and vowel. Some people make mistakes when they make plural form of nouns. It's easy if the noun ends with a vowel (you just need to add -лАр), but it's different when it comes to consonants.

I'm sorry, I couldn't traslate actual names of the types of the sounds.

There are 3 types of consonants in Kazakh. If we learn them, we can choose suffixes correctly.

Types Consonants
Type 1 - Sonorous (Үнді) л, м, н, ң, р, й, (у)
Type 2 - Soft (Ұяң) б, в, г, ғ, д, ж, з, һ
Type 3 - Hard (Қатаң) к, қ, п, с, т, ф, х, ц, ч, ш, щ

And there are 2 types of vowels.

Types Vowels
Type 1 - Thick (Жуан) а, ұ, о, ы, ұ, (у)
Type 2 - Thin (Жіңішке) ә, е, ө, і, ү, и, (у)
