Some examples are "mapula ang dugo" (angry), "nagduwa sa bughaw nga kalipay" (very happy), and "mapula ang mata" (jealous). In Cebu, a famous dish is the "sinuglaw" which is a combination of grilled pork belly and raw fish. The name "sinuglaw" is derived from the colors "sinugba" (grilled) and "kilaw" (raw).
