Expressing Opinion

In expressing opinion, you need to be familiar with the structures and phrases used in the Korean language. Here are some phrases that you can use to express your opinion:

Agreeing and Disagreeing

To agree or disagree with someone's opinion, you can use the following expressions in Korean:

그렇네요	geureohneyo	that's true/that's right
맞아요	maj-ayo	that's right/that's correct
그런데…	geureonde…	On the other hand/
그렇지 않아요	geureohji anhayo	That's not true/that's not correct.

Adding More Expressions

To add more expressions to your opinions, use these phrases to connect your ideas:

• Person 2: 그래도 여름에 수영하는데 차가운 물이 필요한 경우가 있죠. (Still, there are cases where you need cold water to swim in the summer.)
