Western Frisian Grammar - Give your Opinion

Hi Western Frisian learners! 😊
In this lesson, we will learn how to give your opinion in Western Frisian. We will look at the grammar rules and some examples. Let's get started! 🤩

Rules

In Western Frisian, there are two ways to give your opinion: 1. Using the verb "to think" (tinke) 2. Using the verb "to say" (sizze)

When using the verb "to think", you can use the following structure: Subject + tinke + dat + subject + verb + object

For example: Ik tinke dat it bêste is om nei skoalle te gean. (I think that it is best to go to school.)

When using the verb "to say", you can use the following structure: Subject + sizze + dat + subject + verb + object

For example: Ik sizze dat it bêste is om nei skoalle te gean. (I say that it is best to go to school.)

Examples
