Hungarian Grammar - Give your Opinion

Hi Hungarian learners! 😊
In this lesson, we will learn how to give your opinion in Hungarian. We will look at the grammar rules and some examples. We will also do a quiz at the end of the lesson. Let's get started!

Rules

Giving your opinion in Hungarian is quite simple. To express your opinion, you can use the following phrases:

  • Szeretném mondani, hogy... - I would like to say that...
  • Azt hiszem, hogy... - I think that...
  • Szerintem... - In my opinion...
  • Én úgy gondolom, hogy... - I believe that...

You can also use the verb "gondolni" (to think) to express your opinion. For example:

  • Gondolom, hogy... - I think that...

To make your opinion stronger, you can use the following phrases:

  • Teljesen biztos vagyok benne, hogy... - I'm completely sure that...
  • Biztos vagyok benne, hogy... - I'm sure that...
  • Valószínűleg... - Probably...
  • Lehet, hogy... - It might be that...
