South Azerbaijani Grammar - Gender

Hi South Azerbaijani learners! 😊
In this lesson, we will learn about the gender in South Azerbaijani language. We will look at the different genders and how to identify them. We will also look at some examples of words with different genders.

What is Gender?

Gender is a grammatical category that is used to classify nouns and pronouns in South Azerbaijani language. It is used to indicate whether a noun or pronoun is masculine, feminine, or neuter. In South Azerbaijani language, there are three genders: masculine, feminine, and neuter.

How to Identify Gender

The gender of a noun or pronoun can be identified by looking at the ending of the word. Generally, masculine nouns end in -i, feminine nouns end in -a, and neuter nouns end in -u. However, there are some exceptions to this rule.
