In this lesson, we will learn about the future tense in Bengali. We will look at how to form sentences in the future tense and how to use them in everyday conversations.
The future tense is used to talk about events that will happen in the future. In Bengali, the future tense is formed by adding the suffix বেলা (bela) to the verb stem. For example, the verb খেলা (khela) means "to play". To form the future tense, we add the suffix বেলা (bela) to the verb stem খেল (khel): খেলবেলা (khelbela). This means "will play".
Let's look at some examples of sentences in the future tense:
