Forming the Future Tense
The future tense in Slovak is formed by adding the appropriate ending to the verb stem. The endings are as follows:

First person singular | -em |
Second person singular | -eš |
Third person singular | -e |
First person plural | -eme |
Second person plural | -ete |
Third person plural | -ú |
For example, the verb byť (to be) has the following forms in the future tense:
