Numbers 1-10[edit | edit source]

In this lesson, we will learn how to count from 1 to 10 in Ukrainian. Numbers are an essential part of any language, and being able to count is a basic skill that will come in handy in various situations. Whether you are asking for a phone number, ordering items at a store, or simply counting objects, knowing the numbers will be immensely helpful.

Counting from 1 to 10[edit | edit source]

Let's start by learning the numbers from 1 to 10 in Ukrainian:

Ukrainian Pronunciation English Translation

чотири cho-tee-ree four
п'ять pyat' five
шість sheest' six

The pronunciation guide provided above will help you in correctly saying the numbers in Ukrainian. Take note of the stress in each word, as it plays a crucial role in Ukrainian pronunciation.

Now, let's practice counting together:

Repeat these numbers several times to get comfortable with their pronunciation.
