Turkish breakfast plays an important role in Turkish culture.
In Turkey, the breakfast is very rich and generally contains the following ingredients:

◆ eggs scrambled with tomatoes and green pepper |
◆ egg and a lot of special Turkish meals made of eggs |

In each region, breakfast contains specific foods related to the culture.
For example in the west part of Turkey (near the Marmara sea and the Mediteranean), people use olive oil, vegetables, all kinds of cheese and olives.
However, in the east of the country, people eat all kinds of meats and soups along with the basic breakfast foods.
