In today's lesson, we will be discussing the conditional mood in Tigrinya. The conditional mood is used to express a hypothetical situation or an event that could happen in the future. It is also used to express wishes and polite requests.

The conditional mood in Tigrinya is formed by adding the suffix -αŠ₯αŠ• to the verb stem. This suffix is added to the verb stem regardless of the tense or person. For example, the verb ኣα‰₯ል (to drink) has the conditional form ኣα‰₯ልαŠ₯αŠ• (I would drink).
