Masculine and Feminine Nouns in Berber

Masculine form[edit | edit source]

In general, all nouns starting with "a", "i" or "u" are masculine.

berber man amazigh
tongue ils
fly izi

heart ul

Feminine form[edit | edit source]

Generally, all nouns starting with "t" are feminine.

carpet tazrbit
sun tafuyt
salt tisnt
berber woman tamazight
wedding tamghra
darkness tillas
