Singular Subject Pronouns[edit | edit source]

  • أَنَا (ana) - I
  • أَنْتَ (anta) - you (masculine singular)
  • أَنْتِ (anti) - you (feminine singular)
  • هُوَ (huwa) - he
  • هِيَ (hiya) - she

Plural Subject Pronouns[edit | edit source]

  • نَحْنُ (nahnu) - we
  • أَنْتُمْ (antum) - you all (masculine plural)
  • أَنْتُنَّ (antunna) - you all (feminine plural)
  • هُمْ (hum) - they (masculine plural)
  • هُنَّ (hunna) - they (feminine plural)

  • هِيَ (hiya) - she
 * Verb: تَشْرَبُ (tashrabu) - to drink
 * Future Tense: سَتَشْرَبُ (satarshabu)

  • نَحْنُ (nahnu) - we
 * Verb: نَحْنُ دَرِسْنَا (nahnu darisna) - we studied
