Hi! This is a little compilation of drinks that you can ask for in a bar or club here in Spain:

Una Cerveza (o Caña)[edit | edit source]

A Beer. (Here it costs about 1€ - 2,50€ in a bar)

The spanish brands more usual are Alhambra (very good), Cruzcampo (not very good), Estrella Damm, Voll Damm (very good), Estrella Galicia, Mahou Cinco, Estrellas...

Un Tinto de verano[edit | edit source]

It is a drink composed by Red wine, Soda (7up) and if you want, a Slice of Lemon also. (1€ - 2,50€)

Un Calimocho[edit | edit source]

This drinks is a bit similar to the "Tinto de verano".

It is composed by Red wine, Cocacola, and in some places Blackberry liqueur also. (1€ - 2€)

Un Rebujito[edit | edit source]

This is only an Andalusia's typical drink (The south of Spain) and is very usual drink this in "Las ferias".

It carries White wine or Fine wine, and Soda (7up). (1,5€ - 3€)

Un Mojito[edit | edit source]

This drink cost in general 4 - 6€. It is composed by Lemon juice, Withe Ron, Sugar, Mint, Crushed Ice and Soda (7up).

But the recipe sometimes depends of the bar-club.

This drink is very typical for get out at summer night.

Un Cubata[edit | edit source]

It is a cup. Any alcohol with Cocacola, Fanta, Soda... (3€ - 5€)

Una Sangría[edit | edit source]

This is very typical in summer. It is composed by Red wine, Sugar, Orange and Lemon, Another fruits like Pear, Apple, Peach, Banana... And a bit of Vermut.

This drink is very tasty and is only produced in Spain and Portugal. (2€ - 4€)

How to order a drink[edit | edit source]

In a bar the most common and spanish way to call the waiter and ask him for a drink is by saying:

  • ¡Perdona! ¿Me traes/pones un/una (Insert here the kind of drink) ahora cuando puedas? ¡Gracias!
