Hola Spanish learners,

In Spanish, it is used Simple Present Tense when you want to talk about habits, schedules, customes and routines.

Spanish has infinitive verbs (verbs that end in ar, er and ir) and conjugated verbs (infinitive verbs that changes with respect to the subjects).

Verbs that ends in "Ar"[edit | edit source]

When you want to conjugate a regular verb that ends in "ar" in Spanish, you need to erase "ar" and put the corresponding ending with the subjects, the next table shows you the endings and the verb "to walk" as an example

Yo o Camino
as Caminas
Él/Ella/Usted a Camina
Nosotros/Nosotras amos Caminamos
Vosotros/Vosotras áis Camináis
Ustedes/Ellos/Ellas an Caminan

Verbs that ends in "Er"[edit | edit source]

When you want to conjugate a regular verb that ends in "er" in Spanish, you need to erase "er" and put the corresponding ending with the subjects, the next table shows you the endings and the verb "to run" as an example.

Some Irregular Verbs[edit | edit source]

In Spanish, exists a lot of irregular verbs, those change their form and use the same endings like "jugar" or "ser".

Nosotros/Nosotras Jugamos
Vosotros/Vosotras Jugáis
Ustedes/Ellos/Ellas Juegan
Subject Ser (_er)
Yo Soy

Nosotros/Nosotras Somos
Vosotros/Vosotras Sois
Ustedes/Ellos/Ellas Son

And there are verbs that change completely, like "sentir".

Subject Sentir (_ir)
Yo Siento
Sientes
Él Siente
Nosotros/Nosotras Sentimos
Vosotros/Vosotras Sentís
Ustedes/Ellos/Ellas Sienten
