Simple statements are the easiest and most straightforward way to express your opinion in Sindhi. Here are some examples:

  • مون هڪ بہت سوچدوڻ عمر جي شخص (moon hik bahut sochdudan umar je shakhs)

(My opinion is that he is a very thoughtful person)

  • ملھيگڙه ي تجويز ڪري آهن (malihirah je tajwīz kari aaheen)

(I suggest we eat at the restaurant)

Phrases to Introduce Your Opinion[edit | edit source]

If you want to be more formal or polite, you could use these phrases to introduce your opinion:

  • مان اندرجون ۾ خاص رائے آهي (mān andarjun mein khaas rāe aahee)

(In my personal opinion)

  • ملھيگڙه جي شيئر ڄاڻی ساري لڳو (malihirah je share jhānnee sārī lagoo)

(I would like to share my views/opinions)

  • حقيقت ۾ (haqeekat mein)

(In truth)

  • مان ٺيڪ نه ٿو (mān thīk na thū)

(I am not sure)

When giving your opinion, it is often helpful to give reasons to support your argument. Here are some ways you can do that in Sindhi:

  • مان هڪ اکڻ موقعن جنهن کي ٺيڪ نہ ٿي (mān hik akann mouqan jehen kee thīk na thī)

(In my opinion, this is not an appropriate opportunity)

  • مان هڪ شڪيو جو پاڻي جبکه هٺين اندازاً فائدو آهي (mān hik shakho je paane jabke hattin andāzan faido aahee)

(I believe that this approach is more beneficial)

  • جيڪڏهن توهان کي هڪ آچارپ کي برقرار ڪرڻ جو موقع ملي (jekkdhun tohān kī hik ācharap kan barqarār karn jo mouqo meelee)

(If you got the opportunity to establish a governance)

Expressing Agreement[edit | edit source]

When you agree with someone's opinion, there are several ways to show it in Sindhi. Here are some examples:

  • ٻين پنهنجو نظر وڌايو، توهان جيڪڏهن ٻڌايو سوءٹو آهي (binn pantajo nazar wadaayo, tohān jekkdhun bimmaloo soto aahee)

(I see your point, and I agree with you)

  • ٻين پكي دليل آهي (binn pakke dilai aahee)

(I have a strong reason for agreeing)

  • ته اڄ منظري ٻچن تيجو هڪ نزد آهيو (tohachh minzaroo bichan tijo hik nazd aaheeyo)

(I am in a very similar situation)

Here is a sample conversation to help you understand how to use the vocabulary and phrases above in a real-life scenario:

  • Person 1: توهان جيڪڏهن پوڻ جو موقع ملي، چاڪو نهءَ, بيشتر ڳڻو هٺا سه وقت آهي (tohān jekkdhun ponj jo mouqoo melee, chākoo naah, beeshatir ghanoo hattah sa vakt aahee).

(When you get the opportunity to travel, don't hesitate. It's the best time to explore)

  • Person 2: ٻين توھان جو اندازا فائدو قابل قبول آهي (binn tohān jo andazan faido qābil qabool aahee)

(I completely agree with your estimate of the benefits)

  • Person 1: توهان جي نظر هي خوب صحيح آهي (tohān je nazar hee khūb saheeh aahee).

(Your opinion is very accurate)

  • Person 2: مان ٺيڪ دليل جي ضرورت ٿيندا آهي (mān thīk dilil ji zaruurat theendaa aaheen).

(I need a strong reason to be sure)
