Breakfast in Serbian[edit | edit source]

Breakfast - Doručak / Доручак

In Serbia most people before breakfast usually take (drink a cup of * Serbs will ask you if you wish to take a cup of coffee or " We will take a cup of coffee?") a coffee. With breakfast we usually drink milk, yogurt or tea. Breakfast is usually purchased from a bakery / pekara / пекара and each Serb will know which Pekara in town is best for which items you wish to have for breakfast so be sure to ask a local before seeking one out. When buying burek you would usually order the desired amount in grams.
