The Complete 0 to A1 Portuguese Course is designed for students who are complete beginners and want to learn the Portuguese language up to an A1 level. The course covers the basics of Portuguese language and culture and consists of 10 units.
Unit 1 covers Greetings and Basic Phrases. This unit covers Portuguese phrases for greeting people, asking how someone is doing, and basic conversational phrases.
Unit 2 is about Verbs - Present Tense. This unit is focused on regular and irregular verbs in the present tense and the difference between ser and estar.
Unit 3 is dedicated to Family and Descriptions. This unit covers vocabulary related to family members, physical descriptions, and personality descriptions.
Unit 4 is about Verbs - Future and Conditional Tenses. This unit covers the conjugation of verbs in the future tense and in the conditional tense.
Unit 5 covers Portuguese-Speaking Countries and Cultures. The unit introduces Brazil, Portugal, Cape Verde, and Angola and their respective cultures.
Unit 6 covers Food and Drink. Students will learn Portuguese words for food and drink, as well as Portuguese eating customs.
Unit 7 covers Verbs - Past Tense. This unit covers regular and irregular verbs in the past tense.
Unit 8 is about Travel and Transportation. Students will learn vocabulary related to air travel, ground transportation, and transportation customs in Portuguese-speaking countries.
Unit 9 is dedicated to Indefinite Pronouns and Prepositions. This unit covers the use and meaning of Portuguese indefinite pronouns and prepositions.
Unit 10 covers Health and Emergencies. This unit covers medical vocabulary and emergency services in Portuguese-speaking countries.
