assalaam alaikam: general greeting used by Muslims ਅੱਸਲਾਮ ਅਲੈਕਮ
alaikam assalaam: reply to ਅੱਸਲਾਮ ਅਲੈਕਮ used by Muslims ਅਲੈਕਮ ਅੱਸਲਾਮ
namaste: general greeting used by Hindus ਨਮਸਤੇ
namaste ji: general greeting used by Hindus ਨਮਸਤੇ ਜੀ
namaskaar: general greeting used by Hindus ਨਮਸਕਾਰ
hailo: general greeting (from English) ਹੈਲੋ
keedah: informal greeting in the Doabi dialect ਕੀਥਾ?
shubh ratri: nighttime greeting ਸ਼ੁਭ ਰਾਤ੍ਰੀ
tuhada ki haal hai: how are you? ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੀ ਹਾਲ ਹੈ?
tuhada ki haal aeh: how are you?, informal, spoken in Amritsar ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੀ ਹਾਲ ਏ?
ki haal ah: how are you?, informal ਕੀ ਹਾਲ ਆ?
