English Nepali (individual language)
namaskaar: general greeting नमस्कार
namasté: general greeting नमस्ते
subha prabhat: morning greeting शुभ प्रभात
subha sandhya: evening greeting शुभ सन्ध्या
subha ratri: nighttime greeting शुभ रात्री
tapāī̃lāī kasto cha: how are you? तपाईंलाई कस्तो छ?
timilāī kasto cha: how are you? तिमीलाई कस्तो छ?
ke cha: how are you? informal के छ?
sañchai hunuhuncha: how are you? formal सञ्चै हुनुहुन्छ?
thika cha: reply to तपाईंलाई कस्तो छ,  तिमीलाई कस्तो छ,  के छ, and सञ्चै हुनुहुन्छ ठीक छ
malā'ī thika cha: reply to तपाईंलाई कस्तो छ,  तिमीलाई कस्तो छ,  के छ, and सञ्चै हुनुहुन्छ मलाइ ठीक छ
malā'ī sañchai cha: reply to तपाईंलाई कस्तो छ,  तिमीलाई कस्तो छ,  के छ, and सञ्चै हुनुहुन्छ मलाइ सन्चै छ
malā'ī sañchai cha, dhanyavaaada: reply to तिमीलाई कस्तो छ  and सञ्चै हुनुहुन्छ मलाई सन्चै छ, धन्यवाद
khana khanu bhaiyo: have you eaten? खाना खानुभयो?
svāgat: welcome greeting स्वागत
svāgat cha: welcome greeting स्वागत छ
