Introduction to Weather in Kyrgyzstan[edit | edit source]

Kyrgyzstan is a mountainous country with a continental climate, which means it experiences significant temperature variations between seasons as well as day and night. The summers can be hot and dry, while the winters can be very cold and snowy, especially in the mountainous regions. Knowing how to describe different weather conditions in Kirghiz will enable you to engage in conversations about the weather with locals and better understand their daily lives.
